Privacy Policy
EasyInbox · Effective 26 July 2026
This policy explains how EasyInbox collects, uses, stores and deletes information when you use the EasyInbox web or Android app.
Information we collect
- Account and profile: email address, mobile number, display name, username, profile photo, “about” text and authentication identifiers.
- Messages and media: message content, photos, videos, files and voice messages you choose to send, plus delivery/read state.
- Calls: call participants, timestamps, type, status and duration. Camera and microphone streams are used for real-time calls; EasyInbox does not record the audio or video call stream.
- Safety: users you block and reports you submit, including the reported account or message, reason, review status and timestamps.
- App and device activity: online/last-seen state, push-notification subscription identifiers, browser/user-agent information and basic security or diagnostic logs.
How we use information
We use this information to create and secure accounts; deliver chats, media, voice messages, calls and notifications; show presence and message status; prevent abuse; troubleshoot the service; and comply with applicable law. EasyInbox does not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
Your mobile number is shown only to authenticated members of conversations in which you participate. Your account email remains private and is not shown to other chat users.
Permissions
Notification access is used for incoming messages and calls. Microphone access is used only when you record a voice message or start/answer a call. Camera access is used only when you choose a profile photo or use video calling. File/photo access is used only for content you select. EasyInbox does not request location, contacts, SMS or phone-call-log access.
Service providers and international processing
EasyInbox uses service providers to operate the service, including Supabase for authentication, database, storage and realtime delivery; Google for optional Google sign-in and Firebase Cloud Messaging device notifications; web-push/browser infrastructure for notifications; and, when configured, Cloudflare Realtime TURN or Metered TURN to relay call traffic on difficult networks. These providers process data under their own terms and may process it in countries other than yours.
Security and retention
Data is transmitted using HTTPS/TLS and access controls restrict chat data to authenticated conversation members. No internet service is completely secure. Account data is generally retained while your account remains active. Short-lived call signaling and operational logs may be retained only as needed for delivery, security and troubleshooting.
Your choices and deletion
You can update profile information, control browser notification/camera/microphone permissions, log out, or permanently delete your account. Deleting your account removes the authentication account and associated profile, messages, stored media, call history and push subscriptions, subject only to data that must be retained for legal, safety or fraud-prevention reasons.
Children
EasyInbox is not designed for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data without appropriate consent, contact us.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made. Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@abdussadir.dev.bd.
